During registration, you may need to provide personal information, including business and contact details required to facilitate ordering and account management. Ensure your personal information is secure, as we are not responsible for any damages or losses arising from unauthorised use. You will need to enter your account number/username and password each time you visit our online ordering platform.
All products listed on our webstore are subject to availability and will only be delivered within South Africa to the areas we service. Prices are quoted in South African Rands and are valid only in South Africa. We reserve the right to limit the number of units per customer and to change product specifications without notice. We will notify you if any ordered products or services are unavailable.
Delivery is currently offered at no charge. We reserve the right to introduce or amend delivery fees at our discretion.
We will not accept orders if there is a material error in the description or price of goods or services on our webstore. Packaging may differ from what is shown.
The price displayed on the webstore at the time of your order is the price you will pay, subject to availability. All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Special promotions may have conditions, including stock availability and limited offers. A provisional charge may be applied for variable weight products. Any difference between the estimated and final invoiced amount will be adjusted accordingly on the final invoice or customer account.
For online card payments: when placing an order, funds equal to the total order value will be authorised against your payment card during checkout. By submitting your order, you warrant that you are authorised to use the payment card and that sufficient funds are available. Payments may be made via Visa or Mastercard. We reserve the right to amend payment methods from time to time. For Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments: orders will only be processed and released for delivery once the funds have cleared in the bank account of Robberg Fine Foods. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that payment is made into the correct bank account. For approved account customers: payment must be made via EFT in accordance with the terms of the approved credit agreement. Orders will only be fulfilled if the account is within agreed terms and limits.
We cannot always guarantee stock availability and may deliver a substitute product if authorised by you. If we cannot supply certain items or quantities, you agree to accept delivery and pay for the items delivered.
Your order will be deemed accepted once you receive an order confirmation via email. However, we reserve the right to cancel any order if payment has not been received or cleared, or if a customer account is not within agreed terms or exceeds the approved credit limit.
Upon delivery, you will receive a delivery note reflecting a summary of the delivered items. A detailed tax invoice will be issued electronically, showing the products purchased, VAT, and the total amount charged to your payment method or allocated to your account.
You or your authorised representative will be required to sign a delivery note or an electronic device to confirm receipt of the goods. The person accepting delivery may be required to provide valid identification.
If no one is available to accept delivery at the specified address, the driver will retain the goods and leave a notification. We will attempt to contact you to arrange a new delivery or collection. An additional delivery fee may be charged at our discretion.
You are responsible for examining goods on receipt for any damages or short deliveries. Claims for shortages or damages must be noted and signed for on the delivery document. Claims have the following time limits depending on the product type:
· Frozen and seafood products: must be claimed the same day as delivery.
· Dairy, perishable, and meat products: must be claimed within 24 hours of delivery.
· Ambient products: must be claimed within 5 days of delivery.
Returns will only be accepted, and refunds authorised, for products if they are in their original, sellable condition and within the product's expiry date. Robberg Fine Foods will not return any item if there is a health risk due to public health and food safety regulations. Refunds will be processed as a credit to the customer’s account.
Orders can only be cancelled a day before the delivery day. We may charge your payment card for delivery fees for late cancellations. If you cancel your payment or if your payment card becomes invalid, you remain liable for the full purchase price and related costs. We reserve the right to cancel any sale or registration in the event of a breach of any of these Terms and Conditions. Robberg Fine Foods reserves the right to charge an administration fee of up to 3.5%.
Risk in the products passes to you or your authorised representative on delivery. Ownership of the products remains with us until payment is received in full.
Robberg Fine Foods is a business operating in the foodservice industry, supplying grocery products to business customers (B2B) only. Delivery of goods is subject to availability and receipt of payment or approved account terms.
We take all reasonable steps to protect users' personal information, as defined in applicable South African law, including the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).
For online card payments, transactions will be processed via PayGate, an approved third-party payment gateway for South African acquiring banks. The payment gateway uses SSL encryption, and no card details are stored on the webstore. Customer details are stored separately from card details entered on the payment provider's secure site. The merchant outlet country is South Africa, and the transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Robberg Fine Foods takes responsibility for all aspects of the transaction, including the sale of goods and services, customer service, support, dispute resolution, and delivery of goods.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
